Biography:
Ari Sliffman's practice focuses on civil litigation, serving corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of matters, including the defense of tort claims, construction defect and products liability claims, real estate and commercial litigation matters. Ari has experience conducting jury trials in Pennsylvania, and he has conducted numerous arbitration matters in a wide array of local jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Brown McGarry Nimeroff, Ari worked at several well-known regional civil litigation firms. Ari also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Lisette Shirdan-Harris in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.
Ari earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2008, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2012. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Ari has two published articles in peer-reviewed law journals, both on the intersection of the First Amendment and Trademark and Copyright Law.

Representative Matters:
Represented a corporation in a fraudulent transfer action against a partner who held itself out as the sole owner.
Successfully defended a doctor sued for medical malpractice arising from the use of regenerative cells to cure injuries to the plaintiff's neck.
Successfully defended, on pro-bono basis, numerous indigent Philadelphians from claims involving premises liability and motor vehicle accidents.
Defended automobile manufacturer from products liability claims of improper design and defective manufacturing.
Represented homeowners in contract disputes with general contractors and subcontractors.
Represented victims of sexual harassment and abuse against medical providers.
Defended products liability claims against a gas line manufacturer.
Provided small business owners day-to-day legal advice and contract drafting services.
